The Spike Trap in Dungeon Keeper 2 pushes out sharp spikes which stab any enemy creatures that walk over it. Like many other traps, it is invisible to the enemy until activated, and similarly to Gas Traps, it's best to put them in a straight line, such as down narrow corridors, to ensure maximum damage.
Dungeon Keeper 2[]
Dungeon Keeper Mobile[]
Overview[]
The Spike Trap was the first trap to be unlocked, and more became available as more mines and quarries were claimed. While they didn't deal a massive quantity of damage, they had a short cooldown. Spike Traps were placed on the floor and concealed until triggered. Flying creatures would fly over them.
The ideal place to put a Spike Trap was in front of a door or trap that was blocking a route, or in a line of traps with Freeze Traps.
Notes[]
- Deals damage when stepped on
- Fast attack
- Hidden until triggered
- Two traps are available after finishing the tutorial. Maximum number allowed increased by upgrading the Workshop and claiming Stone Quarries and Gold Mines
- Deals extra damage to Vampires and the immortal Sir Cophogus
