Not much is known about the Elven Archers, save that they specialize in ranged combat and that they harbour a deep-rooted hatred with the Dark Elves; this is due to the Dark Elves abandoning the light of the Overworld in favour of the darkness of the Underworld. Elves have deadly bows with which to harass and hurt your poor monsters. While weak individually, in groups, they can be ferocious. Use them as back-up units for your fighters, utilizing their penchant for ranged combat.
In terms of function, they are the same as your dark elves, but can be a good conversion if you can afford the wage as they don't add to your portal food count of 15. They do not hate any creatures except Dark Elves; if you wish to have both in your army you should make separate lairs and guardrooms for each to avoid a riot.
The Mentor's ThoughtsEdit
|"An Elven Archer has converted. Like his counterpart, the Dark Elf, the Elven Archer is an excellent long range support creature. Use him to take out enemies from a distance."|
— The Mentor, Pet Dungeon Mode (DK2)
- There are a few instances in which the Mentor will incorrectly refer to the Elven Archer as a female.
- He also sometimes refers to the Elven Archer's counterpart, the Dark Elf, as a male.
